My First Blog Post

Hi everyone, this is my first post for my blog. It will show up at the top of the blog page until I write another post, as posts are displayed in chronological order, with the newest post at the top of the page.

You can add and edit posts the same way as you do the content on your pages, formatting the text color, size, and use bold, italic, heading tags, etc. You can add text, images, links, block quotes and more, using either the visual or text/code editor.

You can also use what are called “featured images”. These only display on blog posts in the TwentyTwelve theme., not in pages, and show up as a header, above your post title, in the TwentyTwelve theme.

My Second Blog Post

Blog posts are great for posting current events or news. WordPress pages are meant for mainly static content—content that won’t change often. Posting on your blog, on the other hand – if done regularly – is dynamic, meaning that the content is ever changing…old posts are replaced at the top of your blog by new posts, allowing you to keep your site’s readers informed about the latest news—involving yourself, your business, your blog’s topic etc.

Some websites, or blogs, like to have a main post that “sticks” to the top of the page. My blog, wphow2s.com, for example, has a “sticky” post—which means that a specific post stays at the top of the blog page instead of being pushed downward by the newest posts.
